Vicky
has been working in Information Security since graduating
with an Electronic Engineering degree from the University
of Sussex in 1988.
Her
first role was in BT, where she developed PC security systems
before going on to be a Security Consultant on BT’s
numerous systems and networks. Vicky then moved to Visa
where she was responsible for setting up and managing the
PIN Security Programme in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Vicky
then spent 5 years at Mondex International, a subsidiary
of MasterCard where she was involved in the specification
of global CA (Certification Authority) systems, architecture
of a secure e-commerce site and development of Mondex security
policies.
Before
becoming the Principal Consultant of Kivvy Consulting, Vicky
was the Head of Security for Telenor Business Solutions
where she developed their Information Security Management
System (ISMS).
Vicky
is a Certified Information System Security Professional
(CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Chartered Engineer
(CEng), Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and member of the
BCS, ISSG and IEE.
Vicky
has been involved in all aspects of security including writing
security policies and procedures, conducting security reviews
and risk assessments, development of cryptographic and PKI
systems and design of secure internet systems.
